Post Pack - 18 Full Depth Frames & Foundations

Great value and perfect for those who need their bee frames and beeswax foundations posted.  Waggle & Forage have designed this Post Pack not only as an economical way to buy your bee frames but also to minimise the risk of your foundations arriving broken. It assumes you have a wax embedding tool to meld the foundations to each frame.  If you don't have a beeswax embedding tool we do have another pack available with the tool included.

Waggle & Forage's Beekeeping Frames

Waggle & Forage's full depth beehive frames are CNC cut by Alliance Woodware, Prowood NZ, who use sustainably grown New Zealand Radiata Pine.

They are assembled by us, right here in Kyneton, using Titebond III Ultimate Glue and commercial grade, glue coated staples.

We have used Australian made brass eyelets with stainless steel wire to support our 100% pure beeswax foundation sheets.

 Waggle & Forage's Beeswax Foundations

Waggle & Forage are really fussy when it comes to 100% pure Australian beeswax and we only purchase from well respected commercial beekeepers right here in Central Victoria.

We’re really proud of our wax foundations. We use a European method to make our product, which avoids any molecular changes to the structure of the beeswax cells. When our foundations are given to the bees, the molecular structure of the wax is the same as the day they made it.

Manufactured right here in Kyneton.

Our standard full depth sizing is 20.6 cm x 41.5 cm, however for commercial orders, we can supply various volumes and sheet sizes to suit your needs.

How to Store Beeswax Foundations

Don’t forget, beeswax has a relatively low melting point range between 62 and 64 °C but that doesn’t mean your foundation sheets should be stored in a cool place! On the contrary, we recommend storing your foundation sheets at a warm room temperature, in a dry place away from direct sunlight.  If it’s a warm day and your room is warm - perfect! Further, as our foundation sheets are 100% natural, if they have been sitting in a cool environment, we recommend warming the sheets before use to ensure pliability.  This could be achieved in a 25 to 30°C temperature range.
