Clearer Board - Bee Escape
Waggle & Forage's clearer boards are wooden and available in 8 Frame and 10 Frame sizes. They come with 4 galvanised steel corner bee escapes.
Clearer boards are useful when you need to empty the top super in order to remove it. The bees effectively leave the hive through the one-way corners and within 24 hours the top super will be empty. If your bee escape board stays on much longer, the bees will work out a way to return to the top box - so recommended for 24 hour clearance only.
We haven’t painted these beehive clearer boards as we have left the colour choice for the beekeeper. It is a good idea to paint them a different colour to your hive to remind you it's there!
