Standard 8 Frame Beehive - Ready to Go
If you're looking to start a new beehive, Waggle & Forages preserved and ready-to-go beehive kits are a perfect start. Made right here in Kyneton, Victoria, our beehive kits are complete with ready-to-go frames, melded with our own pure beeswax foundations. Held together by a 4.5 metre galvanised emlock, we have also added our new, adjustable beehive entrance closure/reducer. Now all you need are the bees!

Standard Supers & Ready to Go Frames
Our standard pine supers have knots (the bees don't mind) and rebated corners assembled using 120 x 65mm premium screws. We then hot-wax-dip and paint, using a premium outdoor oil based enamel.
Frames and foundations are also made by us using sustainably grown New Zealand plantation pine and 100% pure Victorian beeswax.
Our pine is CNC cut by FSC Certified Alliance Woodware (ProWood) in NZ.
Important Shipping Note for Ready-To-Go Frames
Our beeswax foundation sheets travel well on their own, but when they’re pre-installed in frames, postage can sometimes be a little rough. Despite our best packing efforts, the wax foundations may crack in transit.
If receiving your foundations in perfect condition is essential, we recommend purchasing your frames and foundations separately and assembling them at home.
